We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Reed. As a Scientific Services Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Scientific Services team in their daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Scientific Services team, including responding to correspondence, processing telephone calls, and managing databases.
- Database Management: Accurately input and update information onto various databases within the unit, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Document Generation: Generate standard and non-standard documents, including reports and correspondence, as required.
- General Administration: Perform general administrative duties, including dealing with incoming and outgoing post, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Team Support: Provide cover to other sections as directed by the Summary Justice Team Leader, and support the team in achieving their goals and objectives.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience working in a busy office environment, preferably in an administrative or support role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work in a busy office environment, with regular interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
