Sourcing Support Assistant

£35,577 - £36,567

Hybrid Working (1 day a week in the office)

Croydon Council is seeking a skilled Sourcing Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of an effective sourcing process for sub-threshold procurements.


About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reports/lists of existing suppliers on Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) by spend category, ensuring that signed contracts have been lodged in the contract repository, and publishing contract award notices on Contracts Finder.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of suppliers and contracts.
  • Providing advice and support to Client Services on sourcing sub-threshold procurements.
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure compliance with the purchasing and procurement process.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.


Requirements


To be considered for this role, you will need some experience of the key steps in the end-to-end procurement process and a good understanding of public sector procurement legislation.
