Job Description

Croydon Council is seeking a skilled Procurement Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of effective sourcing processes for sub-threshold procurements and ensuring compliance across the strategic procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the procurement team in the delivery of sub-threshold procurements, including maintaining reports and lists of existing suppliers on Oracle Fusion.
  • Provide advice and support to client services on sourcing sub-threshold procurements and work with stakeholders on a project-by-project basis to ensure compliance with the purchasing and procurement process.
  • Ensure that signed contracts are lodged in the contract repository and that contract award notices are published on Contracts Finder.
  • Use your understanding of contract law and public procurement legislation to provide advice on sub-threshold procurements, working closely with colleagues to ensure compliance.
