About the Role
Croydon Council is seeking a skilled Procurement Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of effective sourcing processes for sub-threshold procurements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain reports/lists of existing suppliers on Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) by spend category to support sub-threshold sourcing processes.
- Ensure signed contracts are lodged in the contract repository and contract award notices are published on Contracts Finder.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Procurement Specialist to provide advice to Client Services on sourcing sub-threshold procurements.
- Apply knowledge of contract law and public procurement legislation to provide guidance on sub-threshold procurements.
- Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to promote effective procurement, purchasing, and supply.
Requirements
- Experience in the key steps of the end-to-end procurement process.
- Understanding of public sector procurement legislation.
- Ability to manage low-value sourcing activities.
