Mental Health Specialist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Physician to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to older adult people with mental health needs. As a Mental Health Specialist Physician, you will provide senior medical support to the team, direct input on clinical cases, and guidance and supervision to junior colleagues.
You will work directly with older adult people and their families, liaising as appropriate with other external older adult mental health providers and acute hospitals. You will also develop links with local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues.
- Work directly with older adult people and their families, and liaise with other external older adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
