Mental Health Specialist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Physician to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases, working closely with older adult patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases.
- Work directly with older adult patients and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external older adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
- Develop links with local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards.
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
- Be innovative, motivated, and passionate about Older Adult mental health care.
- Essential understanding of current developments in mental health care.
