About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Capita. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading architectural design projects from inception to completion, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and enhance our services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Architect or in a similar leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong understanding of building design, construction, and contract law, with experience in JCT and NEC forms of building contract.
  • Awareness of new innovative procurement and construction techniques, including Net Zero Carbon initiatives.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software, with experience in 3D visualization and rendering.
  • Desirable experience in Education design, public buildings, Healthcare, and Blue Light sectors.
