Senior Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Systems Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data flows and data management systems that connect operational systems and collect, validate, and present data for use in business insights and BI processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the ongoing systems migrations (ETL & testing) to ensure seamless data integration.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of cloud data platform providers (AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Azure) to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Design and develop Data Warehouse, Marts, and Sets to meet business requirements.
- Identify and mitigate issues and risks associated with development work to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop data models based on the HACT standard and ensure data consistency across multiple subject areas.
- Work with databases and analytics tools, including relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), Data Warehousing, and business analytics tools.
- Develop data integration layers and associated systems to provide repositories of information using SharePoint, SSRS, Power BI, and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, solution analysts, solution architects, and test analysts, to deliver agile and effective solutions.
- Design, coordinate, and implement pilots, prototypes, or proof of concepts to test new data solutions.
- Develop statistical data visualisation tools and techniques to present data insights to stakeholders.
- Research and recommend technologies and partners to deliver resilient, scalable, and futureproof data solutions.
- Perform data profiling and systems analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications using recognised standards and tools.
