We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ability Housing Association. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, challenging behavior, downs syndrome, and autism.
About the RoleAs a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live their best lives. You will work as part of a friendly and inspiring team, promoting community participation and raising the profile of the service and the value of diversity and integration.
Our training package ensures that you will be up to speed with the standard of care we deliver, whether you are new to the role or an existing support worker. We provide an excellent standard of care and support, and successful applicants will have compassion, patience, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, challenging behavior, downs syndrome, and autism
- Work as part of a team to promote community participation and raise the profile of the service
- Deliver high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live their best lives
- Participate in rolling rota, covering days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
- Support and leadership from experienced colleagues
- Training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Company healthcare scheme and contributory pension
- 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and 0.45p per mile
