- Culture and Engagement: Build an empowered, motivated, and passionate team, rewarding customer-focused behaviors, managing performance, and driving a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Build relationships and collaborate with key business areas to ensure that customer and employee experiences are maximized.
- Compliance and Risk: Maintain the first line of compliance defense by ensuring adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet regulatory standards and policies set out by the firm.
- Risk Management: Maintain the first line of risk defense in relation to identifying, mitigating, and managing operational risks in line with policies set out by the firm, including appropriate escalation and risk event reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience of managing a high-performing team, with experience of managing a team of managers being advantageous.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience of managing in the financial services industry is essential.
- Communication Skills: A clear communicator with strong team player skills, demonstrated passion and drive for delivering the best outcome.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of Consumer Duty, Anti-Money Laundering/KYC Regulations, and risk management principles.
- Product Knowledge: Knowledge of ISA or SIPP products would be a considerable advantage.
