Nixon McQuade is currently recruiting for a skilled professional to support the financial operations of an established company.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of the company's financial processes.
The Role:
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow reporting to provide financial insights.
- Assist with payroll processing and other finance-related administrative tasks to support the finance team.
- Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve billing and payment queries in a professional and timely manner.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in an accounts administration or accounting role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including financial regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to analyze and present financial data.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment to provide support to the finance team.
