Nurse Specialist

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the South Molton Community Hospital site. As a key member of our Healthcare for Older People/Rehab Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individual programs of care.
- Take delegated responsibility for a group of patients during a given shift, ensuring their needs are met and their care is coordinated.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes and provide a positive patient experience.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Trust objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends, as required.
