Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Merchandiser to join our team at Halfords Group PLC. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales volume forecasts and intake plans for specific product groups.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain accurate sales volume forecasts for specific planning groups, taking input from trading teams and suppliers for new ranges, promotions, and seasons.
  2. Manage intake plans for specific planning groups within each category, ensuring alignment with budget expectations.
  3. Collaborate with buyers to influence sales and margin forecasts.
  4. Work closely with the logistics team to manage end-to-end product stock flow.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Communicate effectively with retail operations to ensure seamless product flow.

Requirements

  1. Proven track record of high performance in a retail supply chain role.
  2. Strong commercial and numerate skills, with a data-driven approach.
  3. Experience with SAP/BW and Power BI is an advantage.
  4. Excellent Excel and data handling skills.
