About ACEVO
For over three decades, ACEVO has been a leader in empowering civil society executives. Representing nearly 1,700 leaders from small community organizations to large national and international nonprofits, ACEVO's mission is to inspire and support civil society leaders through connection, skill enhancement, and influence. By bolstering leadership within the sector, ACEVO enables leaders to maximize their impact on their organizations and the communities they serve.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Grants and Foundations Specialist at ACEVO, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and nurturing strong connections with trusts and foundations.
- Identifying and pursuing funding prospects, while crafting persuasive grant proposals.
- Overseeing reporting and stewardship to ensure compliance and maintain positive relationships with funders.
- Collaborating with the ACEVO team to align funding opportunities with strategic objectives.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of securing funding from trusts and foundations, along with extensive experience in grant writing or proposal development. Your exceptional interpersonal abilities will allow you to foster and sustain positive relationships with funders and stakeholders. You will be skilled at identifying and pursuing funding opportunities that resonate with organizational goals and mission. A team player, you will effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, demonstrating a genuine interest in supporting civil society leaders and making a meaningful impact on communities.
