Job Duties

The primary responsibility of the IT Asset Coordinator is to assess Innovate's asset inventory and ensure that all organizational assets are accurately documented and managed within the master asset database (CMDB).

The IT Asset Coordinator will also support the IT logistics team as needed with physical inventory management, stock reporting, and replenishment services to maintain optimal stock levels.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a high level of professionalism.

This role serves as a central point of contact within the ICT Logistics division for all matters related to ICT assets, procurement, and general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include coordinating the disposal and documentation of obsolete ICT equipment in compliance with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.

Ensure that any IT assets containing personal or sensitive information have their hard drives destroyed or the assets themselves disposed of properly.

Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for IT asset management services as outlined in the Service Catalogue.

Manage your workload effectively to meet organizational requirements, adapting to shifting priorities and addressing frequent inquiries or urgent requests as they arise.

Work autonomously within Trust and departmental guidelines to achieve set objectives, escalating issues when necessary.

Perform additional duties as required by the organization.
