Mental Health Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mental Health Administrator to join our team at Schoen Clinic Newbridge in Birmingham. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of internal processes and statutory procedures required for patient registration, admission, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the registration, admission, and treatment of patients detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA) 1983, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, patients, and their families to provide information and documentation required for detention, registration, and admission.
- Coordinate the completion and processing of section papers and associated documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Arrange hearings for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Reviews, notifying all parties and obtaining reports as required.
- Organize meetings and ensure the effective production, collation, and distribution of reports, minutes, and other relevant documentation.
- Process referrals received via NHS portal or private, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize and schedule work independently.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
- Maintains a professional conduct at all times.
