Mental Health Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mental Health Administrator to join our team at Schoen Clinic Newbridge. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of internal processes and statutory procedures related to patient registration, admission, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordination and Administration: Ensure patients, relatives, legal representatives, and official agencies receive necessary information and documentation for detention, registration, and admission under the Mental Health Act (MHA) 1983.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, patients, their families, legal representatives, and official agencies to receive and respond to inquiries and requests for information in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Section Paper Processing: Coordinate the accurate and timely completion, processing of section papers and associated documentation, ensuring relevant information, signatures, and permissions are obtained and recorded in accordance with the MHA and code of practice.
- Mental Health Tribunals and Reviews: Arrange hearings for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Reviews, notify parties, obtain reports, negotiate hearing dates and venues, and provide and process documentation in line with MHA Code of Practice and procedures.
- Meetings and Documentation: Arrange and organize meetings, ensuring effective and timely production, collation, distribution of reports, minutes, and other relevant documentation.
- Referral Processing: Process referrals received via NHS portal/private and distribute to the referrals team for reviewing.
- General Administration: Provide general administration support as delegated by the PA/Lead Administrator.

- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office and Other IT Systems
- Self-Motivated and Self-Starter with Ability to Prioritize and Schedule Work Independently
- Highly Organized, Detail-Oriented, and Analytical
- Maintains Professional Conduct at All Times, Remaining Calm and in Control
- Experience in a Reception/Administration Role
- Experience as an Administrator Working in a Team-Oriented Office Environment
