Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Manufacturing Engineering to support our growth. Your responsibilities will include:
Business Development
- Building a strategy for developing the business, winning new business, and managing accounts
- Responsible for the P&L, both revenue and margin
- Clear understanding of customer needs, sales pitch, value proposition, bid writing, and CRM management
- Ongoing management of the customer relationship, satisfaction, and ensuring repeat business
Project Delivery
- Building and managing the team by recruiting new team members or transferring staff from other UK or Group projects/departments
- Leading the commercial relationship with customers for engineering work packages and service centers
- Managing project financials and ensuring the level of service is maintained to the customer
Requirements
- Strong network in the manufacturing sector in the UK in either Automotive or Pharmaceuticals
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude, paired with an energetic and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Well-structured and organized
- Ability to travel within Europe and within the UK
