We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Procurement Strategist to join our dynamic team at Talent Drive | B Corp™. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to engage with a prominent organization recognized for its excellence in the professional services sector.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a high-performing IT Category team, focusing on substantial investments in IT and Technology. This position is ideal for seasoned procurement professionals who are available to start promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute IT procurement strategies that drive performance and achieve significant cost savings.
- Develop comprehensive category plans that align with organizational goals, leveraging supplier relationships to enhance local operations.
- Contribute to the creation of global category strategies, ensuring a prioritized pipeline of sourcing initiatives.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, from Directors to Board members, to secure alignment and support, utilizing extensive market insights.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to maintain a thorough understanding of supplier performance.
- Monitor supplier risk and performance through effective reporting mechanisms and feedback from the business.
- Exemplify procurement best practices by embodying company values and consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Ensure that strategic projects are executed effectively while maintaining cost efficiency and service excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in IT procurement, with a focus on various sub-categories within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex global projects and engaging with Tier 1 suppliers of significant value.
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across diverse regions.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on aligning procurement activities with business objectives.
- Demonstrated success in IT category management, driving change and continuous improvement through innovative strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in multicultural environments.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving landscape.
- MCIPS qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
