Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our dynamic Procurement Operations team at AECOM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage Procurement Processes: Oversee the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Build and Maintain Supplier Relationships: Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and services that can benefit the business.
  • Develop and Manage Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring that costs are optimized and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and procedures.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement, and implement new ideas and approaches to improve procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
