TXM Recruit is collaborating with a prominent client in the railway sector who is on the lookout for a Lead Procurement Strategist to enhance their team. This role offers a permanent position with a competitive salary.

As a Lead Procurement Strategist, you will be tasked with overseeing procurement operations across the organization and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating and implementing procurement strategies that are in line with established protocols and organizational standards.
- Engaging in contract negotiations with external vendors.
- Providing expert guidance to stakeholders and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
- Preparing recommendations for executive meetings and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
- Fostering team development and enhancing knowledge sharing.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Procurement and other stakeholders to refine procurement strategies.
- Driving continuous improvements in sustainable procurement practices.
- Managing Supplier Relationships for inter-departmental supply agreements.
- Advising internal stakeholders on procurement processes and governance.

What We Are Looking For:
- A proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects effectively.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a strategic procurement role.
- Preferred qualifications include an MCIPS certification or a relevant degree, along with experience in a regulated environment.
- A solid grasp of regulated procurement processes and documentation requirements.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and supply chain planning.
