We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a key member of our care team, you will provide complex care support to our client, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility.
- Assist our client with getting to and from appointments, maintaining their home and vehicle, and managing their personal belongings.
- Support our client in achieving their health, social, and educational goals, promoting their overall wellbeing and safety.
- Work collaboratively with our client, their family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Previous experience in care work, preferably supporting individuals with physical disabilities, is essential.
- You must be a driver with a full UK driving license and be comfortable around animals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this role, and you must be willing to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
