Community and Events Fundraising Officer

Merrifield Consultants is partnering with Cherry Trees, a charity providing home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities and support for their families. We are seeking an experienced Community and Events Fundraiser to join their team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow the charity's fundraising program. The successful candidate will have experience in planning and delivering successful community and events fundraising programs, building reach and engagement across various events and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community and events fundraising strategy to engage with existing and potential supporters.
  • Plan and deliver a range of events, including golf days, live music events, and Christmas markets, to raise awareness and funds for the charity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, community groups, and individuals to secure sponsorships and donations.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform fundraising decisions and optimize event marketing efforts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in community and events fundraising, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong event marketing and management skills, with experience in using CRM systems and data analysis tools.
