The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to provide high-quality care within the CAMHS Primary Mental Health Service. You will play a vital role in supporting young people and families facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized CAMHS consultations, assessments, and interventions to Early Help Services.
  • Conduct mental health assessments collaboratively with other members of the Early Help team.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of children and families.
  • Facilitate universal group work sessions for professionals, parents, or young people, promoting positive mental health and preventative strategies.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions to provide evidence-based treatment to young people.

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration as a Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
  • Post-registration clinical training relevant to CAMHS/Mental Health.
  • Teaching and Assessing ENB 998/Mentorship qualification or equivalent.
  • Significant post-registration experience within a CAMHS/Mental Health setting.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
