Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based CBT to service users experiencing psychosis and other complex mental health issues.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing CBT to service users across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings.
- Working with service users presenting with complex psychological difficulties, including psychosis, bipolar, complex post-traumatic experiences, and personality difficulties.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to service users.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
- Providing supervision, consultation, and training to other healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge in CBT.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will possess:
- A postgraduate diploma in CBT or a related field, or a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
- Experience of working with service users with complex mental health issues, including psychosis and personality disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
The successful candidate will possess:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to CBT and other mental health services.
