Customer Service Assistant Job Description

We are excited to be working with a well-established company in the Luton area who are seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer support and advice to customers who contact the company.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take new orders from customers and accurately enter them into the operating system.
  • Set up new customers on the company database and process payments.
  • Resolve delivery queries and order discrepancies with couriers.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Confidence in dealing with a wide range of customer queries and issues.
  • Good listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to adapt communication style to suit customer needs.
  • Empathetic and able to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
