Job Summary
Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Risk team, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating the bank's risks, with a particular focus on liquidity risk, asset-liability management (ALM), and enterprise risk.
About the Role
This is a senior-level position that requires a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices. You will work closely with the Head of Risk to develop and implement risk management strategies, as well as assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Risk in the management and mitigation of the bank's risks, including liquidity risk, ALM, and enterprise risk.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies and policies.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and presentations, including ICAAP, ILAAP, and Pillar 3.
- Produce management information for committee meetings and other risk-related responsibilities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management within the financial services industry, preferably in a banking environment.
- A strong understanding of liquidity risk, ALM, and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience in financial reporting and risk committee processes.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management and recovery planning is an advantage.
