Senior Trading Underwriter Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Trading Underwriter to join our team at Aviva. As a Senior Trading Underwriter, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues in writing and winning more complex, higher value business, while maintaining a multiclass underwriter approach when dealing end-to-end with brokers/customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge of Insurance and Commercial underwriting, with experience of property & liability being essential.
  • Analysis of risks and ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers.
  • Familiar with applying underwriting knowledge to effectively improve processes/procedures, while being responsible for own underwriting caseloads within a regulatory environment.
