Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our connections strategy and policy efforts, driving National Grid Energy Distribution's ambition to be a best-in-sector connections provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive strategy to improve the connections pipeline, enhancing customer experience and uncovering new market opportunities.
  • Proactively influence reform and policy development, collaborating with stakeholders and industry leaders to drive change.
  • Lead the connections SteerCo, ensuring executive leadership is informed on connections reform and wider developments.
  • Build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships, leveraging technical expertise to drive innovation and growth.
