About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic IT Director to join our team at St Basils. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT and Cyber-Security strategy, as well as leading our Data Analytics and Value Capture efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction for our IT function, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective Cyber-Security strategies to protect our systems and data.
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Data Analytics and Value Capture systems, ensuring they are integrated and meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the IT and Performance Hub teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Directors to support Youth Services Managers and deliver organizational objectives.
  • Provide regular reports to the Board, Committees, and Senior Leadership Team on IT and Data Analytics performance.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director to compile realistic annual budgets for the IT function and monitor income and expenditure.
  • Develop and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships to maximize the alignment and effectiveness of performance reporting processes across the organization.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a related subject area, or equivalent experience with a proven track record of management development and continuing professional development.
  • Expert knowledge in IT and data capture and analysis, with experience in developing MS Power Bi reports and implementing Cyber-Security strategies.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and operations within tight financial circumstances and/or competing priorities.
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance and advice at Board level, as well as line management and supervision to staff.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining performance indicators and targets, with a track record of success in optimizing resources and implementing new business development.
