About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Partnership Development Officer to join our team at the North York Moors National Park Authority. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to promote the conservation and management of the North York Moors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, businesses, and organizations to support the Authority's conservation and management objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver projects that promote the North York Moors' unique landscapes, wildlife, and cultural heritage.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, informing the development of policies and strategies that benefit the region.
  • Contribute to the development of funding proposals and applications to secure resources for conservation and management initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Authority's communications team to promote the work of the Partnership Development Officer role and the North York Moors National Park Authority.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in partnership development, community engagement, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to design and deliver projects that meet objectives and timelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of the North York Moors region and its unique cultural, historical, and environmental characteristics.
