About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partnership Development Officer to join our team at the North York Moors National Park Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of our new Esk & Coastal Streams Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Esk & Coastal Streams Management Plan, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and strengthen the Catchment Partnership, promoting the catchment as a national example of effective partnership and river restoration.
  • Oversee the engagement programme across the catchment, managing our REConnect project and identifying opportunities to improve health, wellbeing, and access to nature.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create compelling content, manage funding plans, and ensure compliance with governance, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Line manage the Engagement Officer (REConnect Project) and develop and implement a delivery plan to achieve the Esk & Coastal Stream Catchment Management Plan aims and objectives.
  • Identify restoration opportunities and support with Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience of co-ordinating partnership governance and delivering inspiring engagement to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience working in rural areas with land managers, volunteers, partner organisations, and communities in implementing nature recovery engagement projects.
  • Experience of line management and securing match funding.
  • Strong report writing and research skills, with a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
