Role Summary:

The charity is in search of a proactive and strategically-oriented Strategic Partnerships Manager to enhance its development over the next five years. In this capacity, you will spearhead growth initiatives and broaden the charity's influence throughout Yorkshire. Working closely with leadership, you will pinpoint new business prospects, nurture partnerships, and devise innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with objectives in Complex Care, Transitional Services, and Supported Living.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover trends and opportunities within the social care sector.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including social care organizations, commissioners, NGOs, and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business avenues, including grant funding, contracts, and collaborations.
  • Lead the creation of proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the charity's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives.
  • Represent the charity at conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Success Metrics:

  • Securing diversified funding and achieving targeted revenue growth.
  • Building strong relationships and a robust business development pipeline.
  • Achieving a high success rate in proposal submissions and funding awards.
  • Aligning business development initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Embedding innovation and co-production principles.
  • Positioning the charity as a thought leader within the social care community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualification in business administration, marketing, social sciences, or a related field, and/or demonstrable experience.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within social care or healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of the social care landscape, including key stakeholders, funding mechanisms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
  • History of meeting business development targets.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
