Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Principal Clinical Psychologist, you will play a central role in the delivery of our Sleep and Mental Health services, working closely with our research team to develop and implement innovative interventions for psychosis.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality psychological therapy to individuals with psychosis, using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
- Supervise research assistants in the recruitment and assessment of trial participants, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with our research team to design and implement studies, including the development of research protocols and data collection tools.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff members, including clinical psychologists and assistant psychologists.
- Contribute to the development of our service's research strategy, identifying opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange with other organizations.
- Current registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Expertise in CBT for psychosis, with a strong understanding of the theoretical underpinnings and evidence base.
- Experience of working in a research setting, with a track record of publishing research papers and presenting at conferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to travel to different locations within the trust and surrounding areas, as required.
