About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Vice Principal - Quality of Education. This is a newly created position that will play a critical role in shaping the academic direction of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and effectiveness of our curriculum offer and pedagogical approach.
  • Be the College's Ofsted Nominee and ensure that the College is Ofsted ready.
  • Have significant line management responsibility, including direct reports such as Assistant Principals, Pedagogy Leaders, and other senior staff members.
  • Lead on the development of cohesive and effective staff CPD.

Requirements
  • Significant and successful recent middle or senior management experience in a Sixth Form College, General Further Education College, or school with a significant Sixth Form.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Strong understanding of 16-18 education and the ability to develop and implement effective curriculum strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and stakeholders.
