Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Junior Footwear Designer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will contribute to the development of customer-focused product collections, researching trends, materials, and color palettes to create innovative designs. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical drawings, finalizing designs for production, and collaborating with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements.
Requirements- Strong understanding of and passion for the Kurt Geiger brand, customer, and collections
- Ability to produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently
- Engagement and enthusiasm for the fashion industry, with strong knowledge of luxury and high-street trends
- Capacity to produce original, creative, and brand-appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends
- Ability to work across multiple product categories
- Confidence in presenting designs formally and informally
- Excellent communication skills with the team, other teams, and suppliers
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong technical and practical knowledge for delivering accurate samples
- Ability to take responsibility for design work and follow samples through to completion
