We are seeking a talented Assistant Pastry Chef to become a part of our team in this distinctive and upscale environment.

Role Overview:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in managing and coordinating the pastry section.
  • Oversee the creation of pastries, desserts, and baked items.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of quality and presentation in all pastry products.
  • Mentor and guide junior pastry chefs and kitchen personnel.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative dessert offerings.
  • Handle inventory management, order supplies, and monitor food costs.
  • Ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • A culinary qualification or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Skilled in pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating.
  • Innovative and enthusiastic about exploring new flavors and dessert concepts.
  • Strong collaborative and leadership skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
