A Pastry Chef is tasked with managing the pastry section of the kitchen to ensure an outstanding experience for Guests and Members while planning production and creating seasonal specialties.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry section of the kitchen, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to provide an exceptional experience for Guests and Members. You will also be responsible for planning production and developing seasonal offerings. Your main duties will include:

Assisting in the management of the pastry section Ensuring top-notch quality across all dessert offerings Injecting creativity into pastry creations Supervising and coordinating all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation Planning production to meet daily needs Creating suitable seasonal menu options Managing food cost controls to enhance Food and Beverage revenue Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and Health and Safety standards

Candidate Profile:

Pastry Chefs at Hilton brands consistently represent our Guests and collaborate with fellow Team Members. To excel in this role, you should embody the following attributes:

A minimum of 2 years as a Pastry Chef de Partie or relevant Pastry Chef experience in high-volume food production A creative approach to pastry Strong leadership capabilities A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required) A positive demeanor Effective communication skills Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service High grooming standards Excellent planning and organizational skills Dedication to outstanding service and continuous improvement

It would be beneficial for candidates to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

Relevant qualifications for the role Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
