Hourly Rate of £11.80 per hour

A Pastry Chef is tasked with managing the pastry segment of the kitchen to ensure an exceptional experience for Guests and Members while planning production and creating seasonal offerings.


What will I be doing?

As a Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry section of the kitchen, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to provide an outstanding experience for Guests and Members. You will also be responsible for planning production and crafting seasonal offerings. Specifically, your duties will include:

Assisting in the management of the pastry section of the kitchen. Ensuring top-notch quality across all dessert offerings. Infusing creativity into the pastry selections. Supervising and coordinating all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation. Planning production to meet daily needs. Developing suitable seasonal menu items. Managing food cost controls to enhance Food and Beverage revenue. Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

What are we looking for?

Pastry Chefs representing Hilton brands consistently work on behalf of our Guests and collaborate with fellow Team Members. To excel in this role, you should embody the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:

A minimum of 2 years as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef with experience in high-volume food production. A creative approach to pastry. Strong leadership abilities. A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required). A positive demeanor. Effective communication skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. High grooming standards. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Dedication to providing outstanding service and continuous improvement.

It would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Relevant qualifications for the role. Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings. Proficiency with computers and software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
