Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Waking Nights Support Worker in Caerphilly. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and inclusive home environment for young people, empowering them to achieve their full potential and transition into independent living.
  • You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality support services, responding to the diverse needs of our young people and providing emotional and practical support to motivate and empower them to reach their goals.
  • As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and advice in line with individual support plans, working closely with keyworkers and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and build strong relationships with young people, understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • Provide crisis response support, utilizing a forward-thinking approach to ensure the well-being and safety of our young people.
  • Remain calm and composed in challenging situations, providing a stable and supportive environment for our young people.
