About the Role

The Web Product Owner is a key member of the marketing Centre of Excellence, responsible for delivering improved customer experiences on the website. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing and website development, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a customer-centric approach to website development, ensuring that the user experience is at the forefront of all design and development decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, sales, and marketing, to deliver website workstreams and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Manage the website backlog and prioritize work to ensure that the most critical tasks are completed first.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure that the website is integrated with other systems and that all technical requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement A/B testing methodologies and user testing to optimize web journeys and user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and website development, ensuring that the company remains innovative and competitive.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in website development and management, with a strong understanding of digital marketing and website development.
  • Experience in replatforming websites and working with digital/IT in agile environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex technical language for non-technical audiences.

Education and Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a similar field.
  • Experience in website management, feature development, and replatforming within an organization.
  • Experience in delivering great customer experiences.
  • Experience in data and comfortable using data to drive action.
