About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at the UK Atomic Energy Authority. As an Electrical Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in developing electrical and instrumentation engineering skills by contributing to multidisciplinary engineering and technical projects within our Materials Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to gather information and share ideas.
  • Contribute to long- and short-term projects, including the design, installation, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Carry out installation activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience.

Working Environment:

The role may require work in radiation-controlled areas or in beryllium-controlled areas. Full training and medical assessments will be provided if necessary.
