Position Overview

This position is integral to the advancement of fusion energy technology. As an Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing electrical and control engineering capabilities by engaging in multidisciplinary engineering projects within the Materials Business Unit of the UK Atomic Energy Authority's fusion research initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with internal teams to collect data and exchange innovative ideas.
  • Participating in both long-term and short-term engineering projects.
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation.
  • Executing installation tasks.
  • Designing, installing, and testing electrical and control instrumentation systems.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • A degree in engineering, HNC/HND, or equivalent professional experience.
Some aspects of this role may involve working in controlled environments (appropriate training and medical evaluations will be provided as necessary).
