Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and contributing to the development of our HR policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensure compliance with Safer Recruitment responsibilities, and conduct interviews and assessments.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting and performance appraisals, and provide coaching and guidance to managers.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and conduct periodic audits.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs, collaborate with department heads to create career development plans, and facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including the benefits portal, holiday buying, and cycle to work, and communicate benefits information to employees.
Requirements
  • Essential: Strong experience in an HR generalist role, thorough understanding of UK employment law, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrable experience of creating and implementing solutions to business-related issues.
  • Desirable: Experience in the private or commercial sector, experience of line managing a team, ability to carry out basic data manipulation, and CIPD qualified to level 5 or above.
