Central Fundraising Manager

The Central Fundraising Manager will play a crucial role in driving mass fundraising efforts through supporter-led initiatives. This includes working closely with the Regional Fundraising Officers and Sporting Events Officers to ensure seamless stewardship of supporters.
Key Duties- Line management of two Central Fundraising Executives and Senior Central Fundraising Officer.
- Monitoring and reviewing team performance to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Supporting the team to reach non-financial targets and delivering monthly meetings to share ideas and feedback.
- Identifying potential development opportunities across the team.
- Ensuring the fundraising CRM is used consistently across the Central Fundraising Team and wider SLF department.
- Providing regular department reports and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Using data and trends to support the SLF leadership team in budgeting and forecasting.
- Working closely with the Data and Digital teams to monitor the contactable supporter base and segmentation.
- Assessing and addressing Salesforce training needs across SLF.
- Proactively identifying and resolving Salesforce issues.
- Leading on the delivery of a unified approach to supporter care across SLF.
- Monitoring and gathering feedback from employees and supporters on stewardship and 'surprise and delight' offerings.
- Coordinating the re-engagement stewardship project for all SLF teams.
- Inspiring and training the CFT to nurture active fundraisers and build relationships.
- Analysing supporter journeys to ensure consistency and collaboration.
- Reviewing and analysing the supporter chase process to ensure timely receipt of funds.
- Reviewing and analysing the tiering system to ensure it is fit for purpose.
- Leading on the implementation of recommendations from the annual mystery shopping exercise.
- Leading projects that involve the whole or majority of SLF to ensure tasks are delegated fairly and completed on time.
- Providing updates and gathering experience and knowledge from all SLF teams.
- Providing creative and innovative suggestions for new supporter engagement and online fundraising products and projects.
- Identifying opportunities for growth and diversification within the Online Fundraising space.
- Making recommendations on team structure and resource as part of the Ops Planning process.
- Working with the Director of Supporter-led fundraising to develop our strategic approach to innovation around digital and gaming channels.
- Supporting the CFT Senior Officer in overseeing joint working between the Central Fundraising Team, Regional Fundraising Officers, and Sporting Events Officers.
- Working closely with the Marketing & Engagement Team to share trends, learnings, and collaborate on new projects and automated stewardship journeys.
- Continuing to improve communications across all departments to ensure all resources are available across all teams.
- Ensuring the team is the centre point of SLF and sharing communications regularly.
- Working closely with managers from SLF Departments to ascertain workloads for the rest of CFT and ensure support is consistent across the department.
- Monitoring CFT and RFO KPIs/Goals to ensure consistency.
