As a nurse at HC-One, you will enhance your existing skills in a nurse-led environment, fostering complex decision-making and teamwork abilities. You will play a crucial role in supporting Residents during vulnerable times, guiding them through significant life decisions, which is both humbling and rewarding.
To qualify, you must be a Registered Nurse with a valid PIN and demonstrate your commitment to professional standards as outlined by the NMC. Your enthusiasm for mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues is essential, as is your ability to support students as a practice supervisor and assessor.
Effective communication is vital, both verbal and written, and you will exemplify professional behavior. You will advocate for and deliver person-centered care to the individuals residing in our care homes and their families.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Recognizing the signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect is a shared responsibility. It is crucial to know how to respond to any concerns that may arise. All team members are required to participate in safeguarding training relevant to their roles and pursue additional training in related areas.
