Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at NHS Professionals. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to our community clinics and associated health professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our community clinics, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with the coordination of appointments, including scheduling, canceling, and rearranging appointments as needed.
  • Enter patient data into our clinical diary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support the development of our service, including participating in meetings and contributing to the development of new initiatives.
  • Provide a first point of contact for service user enquiries, responding to phone calls and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in an administrative role.
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality principles.
