About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Administrator to join our team at Hays Education. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our school leadership team and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Office Management: Manage the school's main reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and well-maintained.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and professionally.
  • Record Keeping and Data Entry: Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the organisation of school events and activities.
  • Support to Leadership Team: Provide general administrative support to the school leadership team.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a front of house or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: A friendly and approachable personality with a positive attitude.
  • Confidentiality: A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
