School Administrator

Here at Bespoke Education, we have been approached by one of our outstanding **Widnes** clients, who are looking to recruit an experienced **School Administrator** to work within their school, front of house. The school in question are described as a caring and incredibly supportive school, with high expectations of all within.
The position as a School Administrator is due to commence as soon as possible and will be **full-time, long term.** The required hours for this position will be roughly **08:00am - 16:00pm,** with a slightly earlier finish on Friday **08:00 - 15:30pm**. For this role you will need to be experienced in, and confident on, using SIMS. The rate of pay will be negotiable on registration; however, the rough rate will be **£90 per day**; this is dependent on your previous experience and travel time, etc.
- You have the relevant qualifications needed.
- You have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- You have previous experience using the SIMS System.
- You have a current and valid DBS registered with the update service.
- You are organized, confident and reliable.
- To follow all school safeguarding policies and procedures in place.
- Be able to prioritize a heavy workload and use own initiative.
**Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Using the SIMS System.
- Cover reception; to take telephone calls, relay messages to staff and parents.
- To provide an efficient and high-quality administrative support to all staff and students.
- To undertake routine clerical duties.
- To build positive relationships with students and parents to boost attendance.
- To attend student/parent meetings or make home visits in relation to attendance issues.
- To ensure all information/data relating to student attendance is accurately recorded, analysed, and acted upon in an appropriate and timely manner.
