Role Overview: As a Children's Home Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in:
- Overseeing operations in a residential care facility.
- Working on a flexible schedule of 2 full days and nights followed by 4 days and nights off.
- Supporting children aged 6-16 with daily activities, including meal preparation, school attendance, and personal care.
- Managing staff rotas, leading the support team, and ensuring adherence to care plans.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rates: £15.24 with Level 3 qualification, £16.68 with Level 5.
- £60 per sleep-in shift.
- Additional 16 hours per month for administrative tasks.
- Generous holiday allowance of 224 hours per year, with extra days after two years of service.
- Bank holidays compensated at 1.5 times the regular rate.
- Access to a supportive network with opportunities for further training and professional development.
- Private healthcare options available.
- Reimbursement for travel expenses at 40p per mile.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must reside in the local area.
- A valid UK driving license is essential; access to a vehicle is preferred.
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce is mandatory; Level 5 or enrollment in the course is advantageous.
